PM Modi Inaugurates ‘PM Ekta Mall’ in Guwahati, Dedicates Projects Worth Rs 19,680 Crore to Nation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the ‘PM Ekta Mall’ in Guwahati and dedicated a slew of development projects worth Rs 19,680 crore to the nation, while laying the foundation stone for several key initiatives.

Speaking at the event ahead of Navratri, PM Modi expressed his gratitude for visiting the sacred land of Maa Kamakhya. “With the blessings of Maa Kamakhya, development projects worth around Rs 19,500 crore were inaugurated and their foundation stones laid here a short while ago,” he said. “From projects aimed at making Assam self-reliant in the energy sector to initiatives improving facilities for people visiting the state, several important projects have been dedicated to Assam today. Today is also a very important day for the farmers of the country and for those working in the tea gardens of Assam.”

The initiatives span energy self-reliance, tourism enhancements, agricultural support, and infrastructure boosts, underscoring Assam’s pivotal role in India’s growth story. The ‘PM Ekta Mall’ stands as a symbol of unity and progress, promising to boost local commerce and cultural exchange in the Northeast.
