Speaking after the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in France, Rubio outlined key developments, strategic objectives, and potential risks tied to the escalating conflict.
Rubio indicated that the conflict could wrap up within week,not months, emphasizing that the United States is successfully meeting its core objectives without deploying ground troops.

He stressed that the current strategy relies heavily on precision airstrikes and coordinated efforts with allies, avoiding the need for large-scale troop deployment.

Rubio warned that Iran could attempt to introduce a shipping toll system, calling such a move:

While reiterating that ground troops are not currently necessary, Rubio confirmed that additional US forces have been deployed to the region.
