U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized France for allegedly obstructing military flights to Israel during ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
Trump stated that France “wouldn’t let planes headed to Israel, loaded with military supplies, fly over French territory” and called the country “VERY UNHELPFUL with respect to the ‘Butcher of Iran,’ who has been successfully eliminated.”
He added that “The U.S.A. will REMEMBER!!!” signaling strong disapproval of France’s actions. The comments come amid heightened scrutiny of international support and logistics in the region following U.S. operations targeting Iran.
