A fresh political storm has erupted within the Aam Aadmi Party after its National Media In-charge Anurag Dhanda launched a sharp attack on party MP Raghav Chadha.
In a strongly worded post on X, Dhanda asserted that AAP members are “soldiers” of Arvind Kejriwal and that fearlessness defines the party’s identity. He questioned Chadha’s commitment, alleging that one who fears Narendra Modi cannot effectively fight for the country.
Dhanda criticized Chadha’s conduct in Parliament, suggesting that limited speaking time should be used to address pressing national issues rather than less significant matters. He further accused Chadha of remaining silent on key developments, including the arrest of AAP workers in Gujarat and alleged electoral concerns in West Bengal.
The AAP leader also claimed that Chadha refused to sign a proposal against the Chief Election Commissioner in the House and chose to stay back during a party walkout, indirectly supporting the government by marking attendance.
In his remarks, Dhanda alleged that Chadha has, in recent years, hesitated to speak against Prime Minister Modi and has avoided addressing critical national issues, intensifying the internal discord within the party.
The public exchange marks a significant escalation in tensions within AAP, coming shortly after Chadha’s removal from the deputy leader position in the Rajya Sabha.
