Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan recently opened up about feeling nervous walking the red carpet with his wife, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, whose elegance and confidence often steal the spotlight.
In a candid conversation with Lilly Singh, Abhishek admitted that red carpet appearances are daunting for him—especially when he’s alongside Aishwarya. He joked that while she handles it like a pro, he feels completely out of place, calling himself “like a block of wood” who doesn’t know how to pose or react. He even recalled a funny moment when photographers thought he looked upset, prompting him to apologise for unintentionally appearing serious.
Beyond the red carpet, Abhishek also spoke about their parenting philosophy for their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan. He shared that both he and Aishwarya believe in leading by example rather than assigning traditional parental roles. Instead of dividing responsibilities, they focus on living with strong values so their child naturally learns from them.
The couple, who married in 2007 and have worked together in several films, continue to balance their personal and professional lives while maintaining a grounded approach to family and parenting.
