India & Bangladesh Deepen Ties: Dr. S. Jaishankar Meets FM Khalilur Rahman, Discuss Bilateral & Regional Cooperation

India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Wednesday hosted Bangladesh Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman and his delegation for high-level talks aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.


Sharing an update on social media, Jaishankar expressed satisfaction over the discussions, highlighting the importance of enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors. The meeting focused on expanding ties in trade, connectivity, security, and people-to-people engagement between India and Bangladesh.

The two leaders also exchanged views on key regional and global developments, underlining the strategic importance of collaboration in South Asia amid evolving geopolitical dynamics.
