India Gifts 90 Electric Buses to Mauritius, Strengthening Green Partnership: EAM Dr. S. Jaishankar

India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr S Jaishankar, shared the development on social media, highlighting the importance of the gesture. The buses were officially handed over to Mauritius Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam.

Describing the initiative as a “moving symbol of Green Partnership,” Dr. Jaishankar emphasized that the electric buses represent a collective vision for a cleaner and more sustainable future.
The project aligns with India’s broader efforts to support climate-friendly infrastructure and deepen cooperation with partner nations in the Global South.
