Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated strong support for the United States’ hardline stance against Iran, including the proposed naval blockade, amid escalating tensions in West Asia.
Speaking at a government meeting, Netanyahu stated that military operations are ongoing and underscored Israel’s alignment with the US approach. He praised Donald Trump for adopting a firm position on Iran, particularly regarding efforts to curb its nuclear ambitions.
“We support the tough stance of President Trump to impose a naval blockade on Iran,” Netanyahu said, adding that Israel remains in constant coordination with Washington.
The Israeli Prime Minister also revealed that he recently spoke with US Vice President JD Vance, who emphasized that the core issue remains the complete removal of enriched nuclear material and ensuring that Iran does not continue uranium enrichment.
