The delegation closely monitored polling arrangements and interacted with officials to understand the electoral procedures being followed at the ground level.
During their visit, the delegates appreciated the efficient management of polling stations and the overall festive atmosphere surrounding the democratic process. They also lauded the use of webcasting systems at polling booths, which enhance transparency and real-time monitoring.
In addition, they commended the availability of assured minimum facilities (AMF) for voters, including wheelchairs, drinking water, shaded areas, and seating arrangements for elderly citizens and persons with disabilities (PwD), highlighting the inclusive approach of the election process.
