Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a positive update on social media following his meeting with Vietnam President To Lam, highlighting the growing strength of India-Vietnam relations.
“Wonderful meeting with President, Mr. To Lam. We will keep adding momentum to the India-Vietnam friendship,” PM Modi posted, underlining India’s continued focus on strengthening diplomatic and strategic ties with Vietnam.
The meeting comes at a time when both nations are actively expanding cooperation across key sectors including trade, defense, maritime security, and regional stability in the Indo-Pacific. India and Vietnam share a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and recent engagements reflect a mutual commitment to deepen collaboration further.
President To Lam’s visit to India has been marked by high-level engagements and ceremonial honours, including an official welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The visit is expected to pave the way for new agreements and reinforce long-standing cultural and economic connections between the two countries.
India and Vietnam have steadily enhanced their partnership over the years, driven by shared geopolitical interests and a vision for a free, open, and inclusive Indo-Pacific region.
