Aam Aadmi Party leader Bhagwant Mann will be sworn-in as the chief minister of Punjab on the 16th of this month.
Bhagwant Mann met Governor of Punjab Banwari Lal Prohit presented a claim to form a government.
The oath-taking ceremony will be held in Khatkar Kalan village in Nawanshahr district, the ancestral village of iconic freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
Mr Mann met the party’s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday and invited him to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
Aam Aadmi Party has intensified the preparations for government formation in Punjab after a landslide victory in the Assembly elections.
