Preparations are going on continuously for Deepotsav in Ayodhya. After getting information about PM Modi’s participation in this program, preparations are on to make it even more grand. Artists from 8 countries will participate in the Deepotsav program.
Ayodhya: Preparations are going on continuously for the 6th Deepotsav. There will be enchanting performances of Ramlila/Ramayana and folk dance from 8 countries and 10 states. In this, 2020 artists including 120 artists from 8 countries will participate. On October 23, 17 lakh lamps will be lit on Ram’s foot. At the same time, more than 3 lakh 54 thousand lamps will be lit in other places including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi.
Artists from these places will be involved
On 22 and 23 October, artists from countries like Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago, Fiji and Nepal will perform in Ayodhya. 1800 artists from different states including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand will participate. That is, a total of 2020 artists will perform Ramlila and other programs here.
Program will be organized at these places
In the 6th Deepotsav program being organized in Ramnagari Ayodhya, cultural programs will be organized near the main stage of Ramkatha Park, Bhajan Sandhya Sthal, near the railway bridge, Ramghat, Badi Devkali, Guptar Ghat and Bharatkund. Apart from this, a picture gallery (photo gallery) titled Ramayana is also being prepared. This Ram Katha will be displayed in the park itself.
Material will be made available on October 21
All the material for Deepotsav will be made available to religious places by the tourism department on October 21 itself. Material will be made available on October 20 at Government Inter College Ayodhya for Deepotsav in schools. which will be distributed. During Deepotsav 2022, 3.54 lakh lamps will be lit at major places of Ayodhya. In this, 1 lakh lamps will be lit in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. According to the information given by the District Magistrate, 3 lakh 54 thousand lamps will be lit in schools and religious places. Instructions have been given to prepare an action plan in this regard. According to the instructions of the Tourism Department, the officials have also been directed to coordinate with the concerned institutions.
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University got the responsibility
Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University has got the responsibility of lighting diyas in Deepotsav. University nodal officer Prof. Ajay Pratap Singh’s team is busy in making Deepotsav a success. At Ram ki Paidi and other places, 20 thousand volunteers will be disciplined and light the lamp. Pro. Ajay Pratap Singh told that the lamps will reach the ghats only on October 20. The work of laying them will start on October 21. On October 22, the counting of lamps will be done and on October 23, oil-wick will be lit in the lamp. After this they will be burnt in the evening.
Duty of 20 thousand volunteers has also been imposed
Nodal Officer Prof. Ajay Pratap informed the media that two days before Deepotsav, duty of 20 thousand volunteers would also be imposed in Ram ki Paidi. This time the lamp has been prepared in a very special way. It will keep burning for a long time. Till now only 30 ml oil was poured into the lamp, but this time the size of the lamps has increased.
