The third day box office collection of Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat’s action thriller ‘Un Action Hero’ is shocking. There has been a jump in earnings on the weekend.
Ayushmann Khurrana-Jaideep Ahlawat’s film ‘An Action Hero’ had a slow start on the first day but saw a slight growth in the weekend. The action comedy thriller directed by Anirudh Iyer registered a growth of 60 per cent, but the figure is still very low. As per trade reports, the collection from mass circuit was poor, but Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Chandigarh did somewhat better business. ‘Un Action Hero’ is clashing with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 2’ and Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Bhediya’ at the box office.
Some 5.99 crores so far
The film collected Rs 1.31 crore on the first day, Rs 2.16 crore on the second day on Saturday. On the other hand, on the third day on Sunday, it has earned Rs 2.52 crore. Till now the total collection of the film has been Rs 5.99 crores.
Akshay Kumar in ‘An Action Hero’
‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar made a surprise entry in Ayushmann Khurrana’s N Action Hero. Thanking the superstar for being a part of the film, Khurrana shared a frame that captured the two looking away. Ayushmann wrote in the caption, “Flying high on reviews and because the OG player is in the house (or rather the plane) thank you Akshay Kumar sir for being a part of our film. We will be forever grateful.”
About ‘An Action Hero’
Directed by Anirudh Iyer, the high-octane thriller film stars Ayushmann in the role of actor Manav, who travels to Haryana for an outdoor shoot, but becomes part of an accident, after which his life turns completely upside down. . The film is the first action-packed role of Ayushmann Khurrana’s career. Produced by Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar, the film also features item numbers by Malaika Arora and Nora Fatehi.
