The BJP supporters from Seoraphuli Mondal committee launched an agitation on Saturday morning to protest against the worst conditions of the road at Srirampur Nagar More.
The road from Seoraphuli to Sriramapur-Piyapur Delhi Road has become the vulnerable stretch. The road is filled with big craters. Vehicles trying to dodge craters has become a usual sight on the stretch of GT Road now. While negotiating big craters, vehicles often run into potholes. During peak hours, the road turns motorists’ nightmare. During the protest movement, the supporters of BJP Seoraphuli Mondal committee planted banana trees on the GT Road demanding immediate repairing of the road.
