Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is soon going to join the 200 crore club at the Indian box office. The film has now grossed 160 crores. With this, the film has entered the top-10 list of highest-grossing Bollywood sequel films of all time. Salman Khan’s film Tiger Zinda Hai is on the first number in this list. Let Drishyam 2 be the sequel of Drishyam which came in 2015.
Included in the top-10 sequel films with the highest collection
Drishmay 2 has joined the top-10 films in terms of highest collection in sequel films. Salman Khan’s film Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) is at number one with a collection of 339 crores. ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was a sequel to Salman’s 2012 film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.
Taran Adarsh shared the latest collection of the film
In the second week also the film is doing tremendous collection. Even in the weekdays, the pace of the film’s earnings is not taking the name of stopping. The film has so far earned 159 crores. Sharing the latest collection of the film on his social media platform, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote- “Drishyam 2 is collecting money continuously. The hold of the film is tremendous even in the weekdays. Week-2- Friday 7.87 crores, Saturday 14.05 crores, Sunday 17.32 cr, Monday 5.44 cr, Tuesday 5.15 cr, Wednesday 4.68 cr, Total – 159.17 cr.”
Drishyam-2 included in top-5 Hindi films with highest worldwide collection in 2022
In terms of worldwide collection in 2022, Brahmastra is at number one with 431 crores while The Kashmir Files is at number two with 341 crores. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (266 crores) is at number three. Now with the total worldwide collection of 227 crores, Drishyam 2 has overtaken Gangubai Kathiawadi (211 crores).
