Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2022
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with Rashtriya Bal Puraskar awardees as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a programme to recognise the achievements of children from across India. The winners of the award, along with their parents and concerned district magistrate of their respective district would join the event from their district headquarters.
Celebrations
The Ministry of Culture has organised an event named ‘Umang Rangoli Utsav’ as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The participants have to make rangoli decorations at 50 special locations across India. A kilometre-long rangoli will be done on the streets and squares named after the female freedom fighters of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually connect and felicitate the winners of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar.
National Girl Child Day is an occasion to reiterate our commitment and further strengthen ongoing efforts to empower the girl child. It is also a day to celebrate the exemplary accomplishments of the girl child in different fields.
