CM Mamata Banerjee blames DVC for ‘man-made’ Bengal floods

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inspected the flood situation in Arambagh.Mamata Banerjee has raised her voice against the Central Government for alleging flood situation in the state on Friday. The Chief Minister said, “If we were flooded for rain, we would understand that it is raining more.” We are handling that. But, the flood is ultimately for releasing water. It is ‘Man Made Flood’.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had taken the aerial view of the flood situations in the state on Saturday She inspected the situation in the flooded areas.She left Dumurjala Stadium in Howrah on that day. The Chief Minister visited Arambagh and talked to the residents of the affected area. She blamed the BJP government for the floods.
Before the Chief Minister left, several ministers reached the affected areas on his instructions. Subrata Mukherjee is going to Bankura, Aroop Biswas to East Burdwan, Firhad Hakim and Becharam Manna to Hughli and Manas Bhuiyan to Medinipur.
