Six-time winners Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City were made to fight hard to book their spot in the Emirates FA Cup quarter-final, prevailing 2-0 away at Peterborough United.

Before Jack Grealish scored his first ever FA Cup goal after collecting a lovely ball from Foden and sliding his shot past onrushing goalkeeper Steven Benda.

Manchester City won through despite making six changes .

Before the game started, Fernandinho handed Oleksandr Zinchenko the captain’s armband as an act of solidarity after a difficult week for the Ukrainian given the situation in his homeland.

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola said ,”They were brilliant goals. The quality of Riyad and the second goal the same. It was good. We created chances. All of them were brilliant.”
