Liverpool scored their 40th winning goal in the 90th-minute in the Premier League the most of any side.
Alexander Isak marked his debut for the visitors with the opener, but Roberto Firmino equalised just after the hour, before Carvalho won it at the death to lift Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool up to fifth place.
