Gujarat Assembly Election 2022: Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen can field candidates on 30 assembly seats, dominated by Muslim, tribal and Dalit, in the Gujarat Assembly elections this time. He has indicated this by giving ticket to Kaushik Parmar in Danilimda assembly seat, the reserve seat of Ahmedabad.

Gujarat Assembly Election 2022: As soon as the dates for the Gujarat assembly elections are announced, all the political parties in the state are busy strategizing vigorously. Be it BJP or Congress, Aam Aadmi Party or BTP or All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen led by Asaduddin Owaisi. Everyone is trying to break into each other’s vote bank. In the reports and opinion polls so far, Congress and BTP i.e. Indian Tribal Party seem to be suffering the most. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party and AIMIM seem to be benefiting.

Actually, Dalits and Muslims used to be the core voters of Congress and BTP till now, but this time Owaisi’s party is keeping an eye on Muslim as well as Dalit vote bank in the elections. This indication is visible in this way that Owaisi has fielded candidates in the Muslim majority seats as well as the Dalit majority assembly seats in the state. Owaisi has given ticket to Kaushik Parmar for Danilimda assembly seat, the reserve seat of Ahmedabad. Thus, there are many such seats, on which Owaisi, by fielding a candidate, will become a problem for not only the Congress but also the AAP and the BTP.

What is Owaisi going to do this time in the Gujarat Assembly elections?

Apart from Congress, BTP, you are creating trouble for AAP.
Along with Muslims, Dalits are also making a dent in the vote bank.
Candidates will be fielded on Muslim, Dalit and tribal dominated seats
Dalit is considered the core voter of Congress and BTP
Asaduddin Owaisi can benefit BJP by weakening Congress-BTP and AAP
This move of Owaisi will harm BJP too!

Owaisi was already eyeing Muslim-dominated assembly constituencies, but BJP seems to be benefiting from his arrival in Dalit seats too. At the same time, Owaisi can spoil the game of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party as well as Indian Tribal Party and many independent candidates. It is believed that this time AIMIM will field its candidates on Muslim, Dalit and tribal dominated seats and this number can be up to two and a half dozen. However, in the last few elections, not all, but a good number of Dalits have shifted towards the BJP. In such a situation, political analysts believe that if the Dalit voters who voted for the BJP do not move from here to there, then the BJP will not suffer, otherwise this move of Owaisi will harm the BJP as well.

In Gujarat, if not the king, then the king maker is right.
According to political analysts, the way Owaisi is playing in Gujarat, it seems that he may not want to be the king right now, but he is definitely trying to get into the role of the king maker. In fact, by fielding candidates in Muslim, tribal and Dalit majority seats, the matter will become between four people. Votes will be cut a lot and probably Owaisi’s candidates will get the benefit. In such a situation, if he gets about two and a half dozen seats in his side and gets a good vote share, then in the next few years he may not become king, but can come in the role of king maker.
