Giving information, the BCCI said that fast bowler Mohammed Shami was injured during training for the ODI series against Bangladesh. He has been kept under the supervision of the board’s medical team at the NCA. Now he will not be able to take part in the three-match ODI series. In his place, the selection committee has included Umran Malik in the team. If Shami’s shoulder injury becomes serious, then he will not be able to take part in the Test match series starting on 14 December. Team India is currently in Mirpur.
