IndiGo Flight: An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Bangalore had to be grounded at the Delhi airport on Friday after one of its engines caught fire. This plane had run on the runway and was about to takeoff in the next few seconds. The report said that Delhi to Bengaluru IndiGo flight number 6E-2131 canceled its take-off at around 9:45 pm and its flight was declared a full emergency at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. Delhi Police said that all the passengers and crew members are safe. There were 184 people on this flight.
Priyanka Kumar, one of the passengers on the plane, posted a video of the incident on Twitter, in which an engine fire and sparks could be seen. He told NDTV that “the plane was about to take off in just five to seven seconds that suddenly I saw sparks coming out of the wings of the aircraft, which saw fire after sometime. After this the plane was immediately stopped from taking off. The pilot informed us that there was some defect in the engine.”
He told that, immediately the fire brigade came and the aircraft was grounded. There was panic in the beginning, but the crew made everyone feel comfortable. Made us drink water. There were a lot of elders and children around… Everyone is safe.”
Issuing an official statement on behalf of IndiGo, it has been said that flight number 6E-2131 which was scheduled to fly from Delhi to Bengaluru noticed a technical problem before take-off, immediately after which the pilot stopped the flight and the aircraft was grounded. to be done.
