Jitendra Tiwari joins Bhartiya Janta party ending all speculation. On Tuesday he joined Bhartiya Janta party in presence of BJP State President Dilip Ghosh. He joined BJP in a rally at Baidyabati. Former Trinamool Congress MLA Rajib Banerjee was present in the rally too. BJP MP Babul Supriyo has refused to see him in the party in past. Though on Tuesday, Babul welcomed Jitendra Tiwari.
Babul Supriyo said after Jiten’s joining,”On Wednesday, I will meet with Jitendra Tiwari at BJP office. He was trying to join BJP. There is no personal problems between us”.
According to sources, this year Trinamool Congress won’t have given Election ticket to Jitendra Tiwari. His followers claimed that he didn’t get proper respect in the party. He had chat with Babul Supriyo a couple of times. Months back he left the administrator post of Asansol municipality. But at that time Babul Supriyo refused to welcome him in BJP. Later Jiten Tiwari came back to Trinamool Congress and said sorry. But now once again he understood his position in TMC party and decided to join BJP.
