Holding on the cool northwest winds, winter returned to the state. The cold weather will continue for the next 4 days. As well as western districts such as Purulia Bankura West Burdwan Murshidabad Birbhum have warning of cold wave. Temperatures could drop to 5 degrees Celsius from the current temperature, with temperatures across the state of North Bengal, including South Bengal, dropping sharply.
Today’s temperature in Kolkata was 16.4 degrees Celsius. In North Bengal, Darjeeling was 3.8 today and the temperature will drop further in the next few days. The weather will be like this till the 18th then the temperature will rise a little on the 19th and 20th. Then the temperature will go down again. There will be a little fog in the morning in South Bengal and the sky will be clear as the day progresses.
