West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurated newly renovated Kishore Bharati Krirangar from Netaji Indoor Stadium , virtually at a program of State sports and youth welfare department. She also inaugurated various projects. Mamata Banerjee inaugurated new Burdwan campus of academic and administrative house of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vidyalaya. She also inaugurated various bus terminals. Sports awards were given today at the program. Donation were given to several clubs. Birbahadur Chetri was given life time achievement award.
At the program she said,” We will give employment to 1.5cr youths. There were challenge on Aamphan-Covid situation. We have good talent. Howrah Dumurjola stadium will be known as Sabuj Sathi Stadium. There are problems for some people regarding helping the clubs. But these clubs help people during tough time. 26 thousands club will get 1 lakh each. When you kick a football, no one ask which religion you are. An expert committee will be made, who will scout 100 players. State government will take care of them. All retired players will receive Rs.1000 per month as a courtesy. In future, the next destination of industry will be Bengal”.
