West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee went to SSKM hospital on Monday to meet minister Jakir Hossain . Jakir was injured in a bomb blast at Nimtita station last week. He underwent some operation to get stable. He is shifted to Woodburn block on Monday. After meeting with Jakir , Mamata Banerjee said that he is stable now.
Mamata Banerjee said after meeting Jakir, “He has undergone operation. He is quite stable now. He will be shifted to Woodburn block today. I can understand that there are many followers of Jakir. But I will request them to stay away from him, as the Covid 19 situation is still not over. Everyone should remain cautious”.
