FIFA World Cup: France defeated Morocco on Wednesday in the semi-final match of the Football World Cup 2022. Moroccan players prostrated before Allah after losing the match. Pictures of this incident have gone viral on social media. After defeating Portugal, Moroccan players qualified for the World Cup semi-finals for the first time in history. Morocco has become the first Arab nation and the first African nation to reach the last 4 of the World Cup.

Morocco had qualified for the World Cup quarter-finals by defeating Spain. After this Moroccan players were seen asking their fans and common people to convert to Islam. The two players, Zakaria Abukhal and Abdelhamid Sabiri, had returned to their hotel after the match against Spain. He did a live on Instagram. During this, both had invited people to embrace Islam.

In the video the players can be heard saying, “Alhamdulillah. We have reached the quarter finals of the World Cup. This has happened for the first time in history. It is all because of Allah. join us. Join Islam.” The two also later posted pictures of themselves on Instagram, in which they raised their fingers which is a symbol of ‘unity in God’ in Islam.

Qatar preached religion in the World Cup
Significantly, the host country Qatar has used the FIFA World Cup for the promotion of Islam. Before the matches, Qatar made all arrangements to introduce the new non-Muslim guest to Islam. Several digital boards were put up at tourist places about the teachings of Prophet Muhammad in more than 30 different languages. Books about Islam and the teachings of the Prophet were distributed among the people who came from all over the world to watch the match.
