Mumbai kid launches sports website

Shrinivas Darade, a schoolboy, is a die-hard sports fan who follows the world’s most popular sports, including football, basketball, tennis, and motor sports. Shrinivas, a 14-year-old class IX student at Cathedral & John Connon School in Fort, has created kidstime.in, an exclusive sports website, to follow his interest.

 

Kidstime.in is a first-of-its-kind internet platform for children that allows sports-obsessed youngsters to communicate their enthusiasm and passion for sports, as well as their experiences participating in various athletic events.

 

Shrinivas said after the website was launched, “This is my initiative, and I’m getting all of my friends’ help running and managing the website, as well as my parents’ backing. I watch a lot of sports but don’t have many pals with whom I can discuss them.

 

Children, on the other hand, can use this website.from all over the world have a platform to connect with one another, analyse the results of matches, talk about their idols and favourite teams/clubs, and, most importantly, create friends.”

 

Shrinivas began playing tennis at the age of three and presently represents his school in basketball, serving as captain of the under-10 and under-12 teams. He also likes playing football and cricket, and he is well-versed in football, Formula One, the NBA, and tennis.

 

The youngster is also a strong supporter of the German national football team. Vice-Chancellor General of Germany in Mumbai, Kim Dominik Wuth, was present during the launch .German football legend Dieter Burdenski and Matthias Brosamer ,Head of Sports .Asia FC Bayern also present virtually in the launching ceremony.

 

“From all over the world have a platform to connect with one another, discuss the results of matches, their idols, and favourite teams/clubs, and, most importantly, create friends,”Shrinivas added.
