Narendra Modi inaugurates Oil, Gas and Road infrastructure projects in Bengal

Narendra Modi after addressing announcement  programme at Haldia, went on to announce the four projects. The gas project of Haldia was announced by Prime Minister. He said,” This will see Bengal’s development. This projects will not only be developing the state, but will keep its valuable significance in other eastern states. We talk about Atmanirvar bharat. Today is indeed a great day for Atmanirvar bharat. This project will not only benifit the state but will turn Haldia into a gas export hub”.

Showing his government’s progress Modi added,”Six years ago we came in power. Since then we had been trying to develop the eastern region states. We have tried to make one nation one has grid. India has now become the highest gas manufacturer in all over Asia. So these four projects will definitely help the states and the nation to further progress in the gas industry”.

He added, “People of West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and North East states will too be benefitted from these LPG import terminal. This will give employment in one hand. On the other hand, it will allow to supply gas to 2 cr people. Out of which 1cr ujjwala Yojana holders will be benefitted”.
