The former Minister, now suspended by his party, was surrounded by reporters today when he was brought to a central government-run hospital in Kolkata for a check-up.
Responding to a question if anyone is conspiring against him, the former minister replied that they will get to know everything “Time will tell who is conspiring against me.”.
Last Friday, as Partha Chatterjee was entering Joka ESI hospital, he said, “I am a victim of a conspiracy.” The former industry minister repeated the same thing on Sunday as well as he was entering the hospital: “Time will tell who is conspiring against me.”
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized around Rs 50 crore cash from two homes belonging to Partha Chatterjee’s close aide Arpita Mukherjee during raids in connection with alleged irregularities in recruitment of school teachers.
“It’s not my money,” he replied to questions on the recovery of cash made from Arpita Mukherjee’s homes.
