Indian hockey legend Gurbux Singh was handed over Mohun Bagan Ratna on Saturday. At the club Annual General Meeting, Olympian Gurbux Singh was handed the Mohun Bagan Ratna by Club secretary Srinjoy Bose.
After receiving the Mohun Bagan Ratna, Gurbux Singh said,” it’s always a nice feeling to get a award. But an award from centenary old club will always be special for me. I would thank Mohunbagan official for giving me such honour. If mohunbagan plays hockey then it will be a good thing for West Bengal’s sports”.
