Saliba, Jesus and Vieira score in 3-0 win as Maupay gives Everton first win of season.Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League table with a convincing 3-0 victory at Brentford.

First-half headers from William Saliba and Gabriel Jesus set the Gunners on their way and Fabio Vieira marked his full debut with a superb long-range strike four minutes after half-time for their third.

On a day when Premier League clubs, players, managers and fans continued to come together to pay their respects to Her Majesty The Queen, it was also a memorable occasion for Ethan Nwaneri, who became the youngest Premier League player at 15 years and 181 days, when he came on as a late substitute.

Arsenal’s sixth win of the season moves them one point clear of Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Brentford coach  Thomas Frank said ,“We lost 3-0, to the number one in the Premier League. I said before they are a top side. I think we performed quite well, not 10/10 but if you want to win or get something out of the team flying, you cannot concede the first from a set piece and then the second one. They didn’t create that many chances but had quality in moments”

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said,“I’m really pleased. It’s never easy to come here and win but we dominated the game. I said before the game that the game we had here last season was a bad day. it was a building character day. A team has to evolve and take the lesson and move forward. In different moments we always stick together”

Maupay off the mark

In the later match, Neal Maupay struck the decisive goal as Everton recorded their first Premier League win of the season with a 1-0 victory over West Ham United.

Everton broke the deadlock on 53 minutes with Maupay’s crisp half-volley. He has now netted in all three of his top-flight starts against West Ham.

Said Benrahma came close to an equaliser with 15 minutes left, but his curling effort hit the inside of the post.

Victory moves Everton up to 13th spot on seven points, three clear of West Ham, who remain third from bottom following their joint-worst start to a Premier League season.

West Ham manager David Moyes said. “We picked up a bit after they scored, but we weren’t very good. The first half was poor, both sides turned the ball over a lot and there wasn’t much quality. Today we found out bits about some of the players, and some of the players I know well had poor days. We’ve shown signs we are getting back, but today we couldn’t put two passes together and couldn’t create anything in the final third”

Everton manager Frank Lampard said ,“We’ve worked hard this season and deserved more. To hold on, fight, dig in, we showed a lot of parts. Our fans are amazing and this team has to be a reflection of them. The passion of the fans, they demand things and we have players who can deliver that. Hopefully our football can get even better. Nobody is getting carried away. At the moment there’s a decent feeling round the place”
