The North London derby certainly lived up to expectations and it’s the Gunners who claim bragging rights. Goals from Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus and Granit Xhaka put Arsenal firmly in control, despite a first half Harry Kane penalty.

Harry Kane becomes the first player to scores,100 away goals in the Premier League.

Kane has scored seven penalties against us in the Premier League, the joint-most one player has netted against an opponent in the competition (Shearer v Everton also 7).

Arsenal beat their arch-rivals to maintain top spot in the Premier League table.Partey’s wonderful strike from distance set us on our way, and despite a Harry Kane penalty ensuring the sides went in level at the break, a poacher’s effort from Jesus restored our lead four minutes into the second half.
Emerson Royal was then red carded for the visitors and soon after Xhaka drove in a third to secure a third straight home victor in this fixture for the first time since 2013.

Arsenal coach Arteta has won all three of his home games in charge against Tottenham – only two other managers have done that – George Morrell (1909-1911) and Terry Neill (1977-1979).

Arsenal goalscorer Gabriel Jesus said ,”I’m very happy, of course I want to score every game. The team showed from the first minute what we want from the game and we got it”

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said ,”I’m really happy, it was a great performance, a great day with an incredible atmosphere to play in. I’m so grateful to all the people that connect with the team in such a special way. I’m really happy because it’s an opportunity to make a lot of people happy and proud and I think we have delivered that to all of them.”
