Rajinikanth calls R Madhavan ‘at par with best directors’ for Rocketry

Rajinikanth is one superstar who never passes up a chance to enjoy superb movie. He recently saw Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect at a private screening and was blown away. He came to Twitter to write a remark (in Tamil) congratulating Madhavan on his wonderful film about ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan.



Rajinikanth recently saw Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie and chatted with him on the phone. He has now seen Rocketry, which was released in theatres on July 1.


Superstar Rajinikanth rushed to Twitter after viewing Rocketry: The Nambi Effect to give a unique remark written in Tamil. His remark is approximately translated as follows: “Rocketry is a film that everyone, especially children, should see. In his debut film, Madhavan established himself as a capable director by focusing on Padma Bhushan ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who faced several challenges while working for India’s space exploration. I’m grateful to Madhavan for making this film.”

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a biopic based on ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan’s life. The video discusses his accomplishments, the espionage case in which he was wrongfully implicated, and his quest to prove his innocence. In addition to directing, Madhavan acted, produced, and authored the screenplay for the film. Simran, Ravi Raghavendra, and Misha Ghoshal also play major parts in the film.
