Maharashtra political crisis:Amid escalating political turmoil in Maharashtra ,after discussions with Amit Shah and JP Nadda BJP leader and former CM Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday met the Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray today urged rebel MLAs camping in Guwahati to return to Mumbai and talk to him. Meanwhile, the BJP has said it will consider if there’s a proposal from the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs on government formation in Maharashtra. Sources said that State BJP leader and former CM Devendra Fadnavis already met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party chief JP Nadda in Delhi today.
Sources said that eight independent MLAs have sent an email to the registered email address of the Maharashtra governor, demanding an immediate floor test. LoP Devendra Fadnavis will further process the demand in his meeting with the governor.
After the meeting Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan with Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra LoP and BJP leader said ,”We’ve given a letter to Mahrashtra Governor and told him that the 39 Shiv Sena MLAs are saying that they don’t want to be with NCP,Cong Govt; it shows MVA govt has lost the majority. We’ve requested Governor to direct CM to immediately prove his majority through floor test”.
