State Minister Firhad Hakim expresses his concern over Sourav Ganguly’s health. The former Indian captain and BCCI president has been admitted to a city private hospital after he suffered recurring chest pain. “I have been knowing Sourav Ganguly since his childhood. I am quite worried about his health and pray for his speedy recovery”. Regarding Dada’s political pressure, Firhad Hakim said “He is doing and has done great things for the country. He is above politics. So I don’t prefer linking him with a party like BJP”.
In addition to this Firhad Hakim added the updated status of Covid in state saying that all the Safe homes are being withdrawn as there is no more requirement for safe homes. “The status of Corona Virus is very improved and the virus has also weakened with time. Within a very short period all segments of people will be vaccinated. So there is no more requirement for any safe home. We have to bear a lot of expenses to maintain such infrastructure”
