West Bengal Minister and former Education Minister Partha Chatterjee, who was taken to AIIMS Bhubaneswar by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday as per the Calcutta high court’s direction, has been brought back to Kolkata and Partha Chatterjee is currently at the Central Government Office (CGO) complex as ED custody after an ED custody was ordered for him till 3rd August.
The former education Minister of Bengal and his aide Arpita Mukherjee were on Monday sent to ED custody in connection with the alleged School Service Commission (SSC) scam in West Bengal.
“Partha Chatterjee’s health is stable. Medical reports have come, and it’s fine. A thorough examination of him was done. Though he had some problems, he didn’t need to be admitted to the hospital, he’s being monitored closely”,Dr Tushar Kanti Patra, SSKM Hospital, Kolkata.
The minister took a 5.20am flight from Bhubaneswar after being discharged from AIIMS Bhuwneshwar and reached Kolkata airport at 6.34.
