US and Denmark Reach Landmark Deal to Strengthen Greenland Security
The United States and Denmark have reached an agreement to strengthen the US security role in Greenland while keeping the Arctic island under Danish sovereignty. The deal is expected to be signed during the United Nations General Assembly and will require parliamentary approval in Denmark and Greenland.
