Tollywood industry has seen arch rivals inside as the Election comes closer. From Yash Dasgupta to Hiran Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh ,Paayel Sarkar has joined the saffron party. While Sayani Ghosh, Raj Chakraborty, Soham Chakraborty has joined the Trinamool Congress. But the supporters of communism remained red as ever.
On the day of Brigade, Tollywood actress Sreelekha Mitra once again showed her love for the communism. She revealed that she will follow the brigade. On the morning of Brigade, she shared her pics with supporting the leftist brigade. She has painted the logo of CPIM in her nails. In another picture she was seen holding red flag. Apart from Sreelekha Mitra, other senior actor, director were also seen in the rally.
Director Tarun Majumdar, Kamaleshwar Mukherjee, Musician Debojyoti Mishra, Actor Badshah Maitra was also present in the brigade. Sreelekha Mitra said,”So many people has come here. You should be careful about giving the vote in right ballot. There is only one way, that’s the red. Inquilab Zindabad”.
Nilabj Niyogi sang a song on late Maidul Midya who died after a clash with police. The people in brigade felt emotional about their late Comrade. Youths at the brigade said,”Maidul will win this fight. He death will not go in vain”.
This brigade was very unique because it’s very rare to see Left and Congress flags together. Abbas Siddiqui’s secular front was present at the brigade. Leftists has tried to attact youths so they have used music and songs in the brigade as a weapon.
