Pregnant women and mothers across Lebanon are facing growing hardship as ongoing violence continues to displace families and disrupt access to essential healthcare services. Many expectant mothers are struggling to receive the medical care, protection, and support they urgently need during pregnancy and childbirth.
In response to the escalating humanitarian situation, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is intensifying its efforts on the ground. The agency is providing critical maternal and reproductive health services, ensuring safe pregnancy and delivery care for women affected by the crisis.
Alongside medical assistance, UNFPA is also delivering mental health and psychosocial support to help women cope with trauma, stress, and uncertainty caused by displacement and violence. Mobile clinics, emergency reproductive health kits, and trained healthcare workers are being deployed to reach vulnerable communities and ensure that no woman is left without care.
As the crisis continues, humanitarian organizations stress the urgent need for sustained international support to protect the health, dignity, and well-being of women and mothers across Lebanon.
