In a heartfelt tribute to one of India’s most iconic freedom fighters, West Bengal Governor R. N. Ravi visited Netaji Bhavan in Kolkata and paid homage to Subhas Chandra Bose.
Taking to social media, Governor Ravi lauded Netaji’s “bold and innovative leadership” during India’s freedom struggle, emphasizing how his actions shook the very foundations of the British Empire and accelerated the country’s independence movement.
Highlighting Netaji’s enduring legacy, the Governor stated that his indomitable spirit continues to inspire millions across the nation. He urged citizens to commit themselves towards building a fully developed India by 2047, marking the centenary of the country’s independence.
“Visited Netaji Bhavan Kolkata and paid my heartfelt tribute to one of the greatest sons of Maa Bharati! His uniquely bold and innovative leadership to the national freedom movement shook the foundation of the British empire and expedited Bharat’s Independence. His indomitable spirit will continue inspiring us to commit ourselves to make Bharat a fully developed nation by the time we celebrate the centenary of our independence in 2047. Jai Hind!” Governor Ravi said.
Netaji Bhavan, the ancestral home of Subhas Chandra Bose, remains a significant historical site, symbolizing India’s struggle for freedom and the enduring legacy of one of its most revered leaders.
