Trump Signals Possible Iran Deal Soon, Claims Progress Ahead of Schedule

In a significant development in global geopolitics, U.S. President Donald Trump has indicated that a potential deal with Iran could be on the horizon, suggesting that negotiations are progressing faster than expected.

Speaking to reporters, Trump expressed optimism about the ongoing discussions, stating, “I do see a deal in Iran, yeah. Could be soon.” His remarks come amid renewed diplomatic engagement and heightened international attention on the region.

When asked whether Iran had responded to a previously proposed 15-point plan, Trump confirmed that Tehran had largely complied. “They gave us most of the points — why wouldn’t they?” he said, adding that Iran had also demonstrated its seriousness by facilitating the movement of oil shipments.

Trump further claimed that negotiations are moving at an accelerated pace. “We’re ahead of schedule with Iran. We’re weeks ahead of schedule,” he noted, describing the current Iranian leadership as a “new group of people” who are acting “very reasonable.”

In a striking statement, the U.S. President also asserted that military actions had taken place alongside diplomatic efforts. “We destroyed many targets today, and we’re negotiating with them directly and indirectly,” Trump said. He added that Iran had allowed the passage of 20 large oil vessels through the strategically crucial Strait of Hormuz, a move he described as part of ongoing developments.

The comments signal a potentially transformative moment in U.S.-Iran relations, which have long been marked by tension and conflict.
However, no formal agreement has yet been announced, and global stakeholders remain cautious as the situation evolves.
