When asked whether Iran had responded to a previously proposed 15-point plan, Trump confirmed that Tehran had largely complied. “They gave us most of the points — why wouldn’t they?” he said, adding that Iran had also demonstrated its seriousness by facilitating the movement of oil shipments.
Trump further claimed that negotiations are moving at an accelerated pace. “We’re ahead of schedule with Iran. We’re weeks ahead of schedule,” he noted, describing the current Iranian leadership as a “new group of people” who are acting “very reasonable.”
In a striking statement, the U.S. President also asserted that military actions had taken place alongside diplomatic efforts. “We destroyed many targets today, and we’re negotiating with them directly and indirectly,” Trump said.
