Highlighting the humanitarian dimension, Macron stressed the urgent need to ensure the safety of civilians on both sides of the border between Lebanon and Israel. He called on Hezbollah to renounce its weapons, while urging Israel to respect Lebanese sovereignty and halt ongoing military actions.
The statement reflects growing international concern over escalating tensions in the region, with global leaders advocating restraint and a sustainable path to peace.
