Addressing a high-energy political rally in Cooch Behar, Mamata Banerjee launched a sharp attack on alleged enforcement actions targeting her party.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo claimed that raids are being conducted at party offices and the residences of candidates, raising concerns over what she described as politically motivated interference. “They are conducting raids at party offices, candidates’ houses, etc. This is a shameless party,” Banerjee said while addressing supporters.
Her remarks come at a time of heightened political activity in West Bengal, with Cooch Behar emerging as a key battleground. The allegations are likely to intensify the ongoing war of words between the All India Trinamool Congress and opposition forces.
Banerjee’s statement underscores growing concerns within the TMC over the use of investigative actions during politically sensitive periods. The issue is expected to remain at the forefront of the state’s political discourse in the coming days.
