In what will go down as one of the most electric finishes of the IPL 2026 season, the Delhi Capitals (DC) pulled off a stunning 6-wicket victory against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the M. RCB’s Stalled Momentum
Winning the toss and electing to bowl, the Capitals’ bowlers faced an early onslaught from Phil Salt. The English opener looked in sublime touch, punishing anything short or wide on his way to a blistering 63 off 38 balls. However, the innings lost its way after Salt’s departure.

With 15 runs required off the final 6 balls, the pressure was firmly on Romario Shepherd. However, David Miller—nicknamed “Killer Miller” for a reason—showed exactly why he remains one of the most feared finishers in world cricket.
Miller dismantled Shepherd’s plans, smashing two towering sixes and a boundary off the first three legal deliveries. The match was sealed with a ball to spare, sparking wild celebrations in the Delhi dugout and handing them two crucial points on the road.
