Addressing a political rally in Saptagram ahead of the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections, Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on the ruling All India Trinamool Congress, accusing it of extortion, syndicate politics, and driving industries out of the state.
Shah alleged that forced collections and “cut money” from farmers have weakened Bengal’s industrial prospects and made the future of the youth insecure. He claimed that under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, only syndicates and infiltrators have prospered, while ordinary citizens and farmers have suffered.
The Union Home Minister further said that the people of the Saptagram Assembly constituency have resolved to reject the Trinamool Congress and support the formation of a BJP government in West Bengal. His remarks come as political rhetoric intensifies ahead of the state elections.
The rally forms part of the BJP’s broader campaign targeting issues of corruption, governance, industrial decline, and border security as key electoral themes in Bengal.
