Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appealed to the people of West Bengal to support Congress, describing the election as a battle of ideologies and asserting that only the Indian National Congress can defeat the BJP.
In a message shared on social media, Gandhi accused the BJP of taking away people’s rights and undermining the Constitution, while positioning Congress as a force committed to protecting democratic values and delivering justice.

He said the BJP seeks to weaken India’s diversity, while Congress respects every culture and language, including Bengal’s rich identity and heritage.
Calling for unity, Gandhi urged the people of West Bengal to vote overwhelmingly for Congress to establish a government based on justice, dignity, and progress.
