In a significant diplomatic engagement, Droupadi Murmu hosted To Lam at the iconic Rashtrapati Bhavan, underscoring the deepening strategic partnership between India and Vietnam.
Highlighting Vietnam’s importance in India’s foreign policy framework, President Murmu emphasized that Vietnam remains a key pillar of India’s Act East Policy and its broader Indo-Pacific Vision. The meeting comes at a time when both nations are looking to strengthen cooperation across sectors including trade, defense, digital innovation, and regional security.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing bilateral ties, agreeing that closer collaboration would bring immense benefits to the people of both nations. President Murmu also expressed strong confidence that under President To Lam’s leadership, India–Vietnam relations will continue to grow stronger and more dynamic.
