Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, revealed that he held “constructive talks” in Beijing with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, focusing on regional stability and future cooperation.

Sharing details on social media, Araghchi said both sides reaffirmed Iran’s right to safeguard its national sovereignty and dignity, underlining mutual respect as a cornerstone of bilateral ties.

The Iranian side also welcomed China’s four-point proposal aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region. Araghchi noted that Tehran appreciates Beijing’s diplomatic efforts and expressed confidence in China’s continued role as a stabilizing force.

“The Iranian side trusts the Chinese side and expects it to continue playing a positive role in promoting peace and stopping war,” he stated.

He further added that Iran supports the creation of a new post-war regional framework that integrates both development and security, signaling a broader vision for long-term geopolitical stability.

The meeting reflects deepening strategic coordination between Iran and China, particularly at a time when global attention remains focused on regional conflicts and shifting power dynamics.
