West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari Allocates Key Portfolios to Five Ministers

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Monday finalised the allocation of portfolios among five ministers during a meeting with MLAs.

The portfolio distribution marks a key administrative step for the newly formed West Bengal government as it begins functioning from Nabanna.

Portfolio Allocation Announced

Dilip Ghosh
Assigned the departments of Rural Development, Panchayats, and Animal Resources Development.

Ashok Kirtania
Entrusted with the Food Department portfolio.

Khudiram Tudu
Given charge of the Backward Class Welfare Department.

Agnimitra Paul
Allocated the Women and Child Welfare Department.

Nisith Pramanik
Assigned the portfolios of North Bengal Development, Sports, and Youth Welfare.

The portfolio allocation comes shortly after the first Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, where several major policy decisions and administrative reforms were announced.
